Thank you for thinking of Beatnik on the River for your group!

Beatnik On The River was originally a seasonal outpost of our popular West Town bar and restaurant, overlooking the South Branch of the Chicago River, between Lake and Randolph Streets. We now have a fully seasonal indoor and outdoor space, to enjoy year-round.

Thursday: 11 am – 11 pm

**Please note, Saturday, and Sunday – the kitchen offers a limited menu from 3:30 – 4:15 pm, between brunch and dinner service

If you are interested in a general reservation for 6 guests or less, all availability is on our reservation platform here.

If you are interested in seating for more than 6 guests, please note, due to the setup of our spaces and our furniture, we cannot accommodate general dining reservations for more than 6 guests. Please also note, we are not able to not promise general reservations next to each other at Beatnik on the River.

With this in mind, please see below for pricing and information for larger groups wishing to be sat next to each other.

Timing Options – Tuesday - Friday: 11am–1 pm, 1–3 pm, 3-5 pm, 4-6 pm, 5-7 pm, 9-11 pm:

· 2 Tables on the Riverfront Terrace, Including seating for up to 11 Guests; Can Alternatively Accommodate up to 12 for a cocktail style event: $1,000 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge

· 3 Tables on the Riverfront Terrace, Including seating for up to 16 Guests; Can Alternatively Accommodate up to 20 for a cocktail style event: $1,500 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge

· 4 Tables on the Riverfront Terrace, Including seating for up to 22 Guests; Can Alternatively Accommodate up to 28 for a cocktail style event: $2,000 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge

· 5 Tables on the Riverfront Terrace, Including seating for up to 27 Guests; ; Can Alternatively Accommodate up to 35 for a cocktail style event: $2,500 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge

· Please note, if you prefer a cocktail style event, a $175 server fee will be added on to ensure we can properly accommodate and serve your group

If you prefer a 6-8, 7-9 or 8-10 pm timeframe, please note the below minimums apply:

· 5 Tables on the Riverfront Terrace, Including seating for up to 27 Guests; Can Alternatively Accommodate up to 35 for a cocktail style event: $3,000 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge

If you are open to hosting an event in our stunning and fully private Jewelry Store space, we can accommodate up to 14 guests seated, or up to 20 guests for a cocktail style event.

Timing Options Tuesday - Friday: 11am–1 pm, 1–3 pm, 3-5 pm, 4-6 pm, 5-7 pm, 9-11 pm:

· Jewelry Store Private, Includes seating for up to 14 Guests: $650 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge; please note, if your guest count is higher than 10 (either in advance via contract, or the day of your event), the minimum spend will increase by $65 per person, plus tax and service charge

· If you prefer 6-8, 7-9 or 8-10 pm, the minimum spend required is $850 plus tax and service charge; please note, if your guest count is higher than 13 (either in advance via contract, or the day of your event), the minimum spend will increase by $65 per person, plus tax and service charge

· If you would prefer a longer event, please request information and upgraded/increased rates can be shared based on availability.

· Please note, for a Tuesday-Thursday event, a $125 staffing fee will apply on top of your automatic service charge; this is to ensure we are properly staffed; please note this does not include a private server as this employee will likely take care of additional tables during your event

· Please note, if you prefer a cocktail style event, a $175 server fee will be added on to ensure we can properly accommodate and serve your group

Important Notes:

· Please note, there is no flexibility or negotiating available on the minimums above – we thank you for your understanding

· Tax is 11.75%, Service charge is 22%

· Our reservations are most likely open for your date, and the above availability is not guaranteed as we have other groups interested (or possibly already booked), and/or are filling in with standard reservations, or events; if you are interested, please notify us ASAP of your desired and/or timelines your are open to, and we can confirm if there is availability for your group

· Please note, we are not offering semi private bookings past November of 2021. Should you be interested in holiday private and semi private rates for December, please reach out to events@beatnikontheriver.com for a custom quote.

· Please note, should there be a resurgence of Covid, and new guidelines are implemented by the City of Chicago, capacities may edit our typical capacities to less than typical guest count allowances.

· Please also note, we do likely have other groups interested in your date; we do not hold space or tables without a contract pending

· A 2 hour timeframe requires your group to arrive at once and on time, to sit and eat, and exit at your end time – there are reservations before and after yours, so a prompt arrival and exit is required – should you extend past this time, overtime fees will apply, and/or the space may not be available based on additional events/reservations after yours

· With the pricing above shared, and a 2 hour timeframe, please note there will be no time prior to your event start time for personal décor to be added to your space – please also note no personal décor (other than small floral arrangements for tables) can be accommodated on the Riverfront Terrace as this is not a private space, but is a set of reserved tables; speeches and announcements are also not possible on the Riverfront Terrace, as this is not a private space, and games/mass gift opening for showers cannot be accommodated

· The Jewelry Store is a private space and can accommodate gifts, speeches, announcements, and the like; however please note at Beatnik on the River, balloons, confetti and glitter are never allowed in any non private or semi private spaces; if you are planning for any decor in the Jewelry Store, please discuss with your planner to ensure this is amenable and logistically possible due to space and timelines

· A rope and stanchion can be placed between your tables on the Riverfront Terrace, and those next to you upon request, if requested in advance (please note, we have one set of rope and stanchions in house, if allocated to another group already, this will not be available for your group)

· If you’d prefer an event that is longer than 2 hours, this can be custom priced for you, for a higher minimum spend – please notify us, and we can assist with sharing this information

· All options above require a signed contract and deposit upon booking

· A pre-set menu can be accommodated upon request, with a minimum lead time of 1 week for a confirmed event menu; for groups of 17 or more, a preset menu is required

· Please note we charge a processing fee for all events paid via credit card – 4.5% for Visa and Mastercard, 6% for all other types of cards.

Should you prefer to book the Riverfront Terrace privately (required for more than 27 guests seated, or 35 cocktail style), please note the below rates will apply:

· Tuesday:

o 11 AM – 3 PM: $7,500 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge, plus a $175 bartender fee; please note, should your guest count exceed 75, the minimum spend will increase by $100 per person, plus tax and service charge

o 4 PM – 7 PM: $10,000 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge, plus a $175 bartender fee; please note, should your guest count exceed 700, the minimum spend will increase by $100 per person, plus tax and service charge

o 6 PM – 11 PM: $14,000 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge; please note, should your guest count exceed 100, the minimum spend will increase by $100 per person, plus tax and service charge

· Wednesday:

o 6 PM – 11 PM: $14,000 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge; pleasd e note, should your guest count exceed 100, the minimum spend will increase by $100 per person, plus tax and service charge

· Thursday:

o 11 AM – 3 PM: $10,000 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge, plus a $175 bartender fee; please note, should your guest count exceed 100, the minimum spend will increase by $100 per person, plus tax and service charge

o 4 PM – 7 PM: $14,000 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge, plus a $175 bartender fee

o 6 PM – 11 PM: $18,000 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge

· Friday:

o 11 AM – 3 PM: $10,000 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge, plus a $175 bartender fee; please note, should your guest count exceed 60, the minimum spend will increase by $100 per person, plus tax and service charge

o 4 PM – 7 PM: $16,000 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge, plus a $175 bartender fee

o 6 PM – 11 PM: $20,000 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge

· Saturday:

o 10 AM – 2 PM: $15,000 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge, plus a $175 bartender fee; please note, should your guest count exceed 60, the minimum spend will increase by $100 per person, plus tax and service charge

o 4 PM – 7 PM: $20,000 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge, plus a $175 bartender fee

o 6 PM – 11 PM: $18,000 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge

· Sunday:

o 4 PM – 7 PM: $20,000 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge, plus a $175 bartender fee

o 6 PM – 11 PM: $15,000 Food & Beverage Minimum Guarantee, plus tax and service charge

· ***Please request information for Mondays as we are not open, and minimums can be custom quoted

If you would prefer a general reservation, without a minimum spend requirement, we have as of late been able to accommodate this request at our original Beatnik location, in West Town (1604 W Chicago Ave), with 12 guests or less. Please feel free to email info@beatnikchicago.com for options and availability. (Please note, our general reservations open up 45 days in advance at Beatnik in West Town, and we are not open Monday or Tuesdays).

If you would prefer private event space (with the option for speeches/personal décor/etc), and have a more frugal budget in mins, please email events@bonhommegroup.com, and we will provide information for alternative venues within the Bonhomme Hospitality Group that may fall closer to within budget for your event. Please note these options will require a contract, deposit, and a food/beverage minimum guarantee.
